Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is expected to make official in the not too distant future a new device running under Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 operating system, one that would sport a large 6-inch screen, namely the Lumia 1520.

The phone has been spotted not long ago in a leaked photo that showed it next to a Lumia 1020, and some enthusiasts took their time to play with the image to determine the size of the upcoming device.

According to a post on WPCentral, the new Windows Phone 8 device should measure 169.9 mm x 88.9 mm (6.69 inches x 3.5 inches), provided that it will indeed land on shelves with a 6-inch display.

Furthermore, the news site notes that Nokia’s large smartphone will be comparable in size with Samsung’s Android-based Galaxy Mega 6.3, although it will have a smaller touchscreen.
