Bad news for Windows Phone fans anxious to get their hands on Nokia's first phablet the Lumia 1520, as the smartphone's launch has been delayed.

Although these are only rumors and Nokia has yet to make any official statement, they come from reliable enough sources.

The Verge and evleaks both report Nokia's launch event set for September 26 in New York City might have been pushed back.

According to these sources, Nokia Lumia 1520 (Bandit) will be announced during an event set for October 22, though the place has yet to be determined.
