Later this summer, Windows Phone enthusiasts will be able to purchase a new smartphone from the Finnish handset vendor Nokia, a device that has been spotted online before under the supposed codename of Nokia EOS.

No official info on the matter has been provided as of now, but a recently posted comment on Reddit claims that the device will indeed be unveiled during summer, and that it will sport the previously rumored high-end camera (supposedly a 41MP sensor).

Yesterday, after the launch of Lumia 925, Nokia’s Jo Harlow did say that the company was considering the launch of new devices this summer, which suggests that EOS is indeed coming sooner rather than later.

As WMPoweruser notes, Nokia is also expected to launch a large Windows Phone 8 smartphone in 2013, one that has been rumored before as well, though no specific details on it have been made available.
