Windows Phone enthusiasts will be happy to know that Nokia has just announced that the official Instagram application will be available for their favorite platform soon.

According to Stephen Elop, Nokia and Microsoft have worked together to bring Instagram to Windows Phone users and the application is expected to arrive “in the coming weeks.”

“Our ultimate goal is to bring Instagram to everyone who wants to use it…We're looking forward to watching the Windows Phone community use Instagram to capture and share beautiful moments in the coming weeks,” said Kevin Systrom, CEO and co-founder of Instagram.

With Microsoft and Nokia now bringing Instagram to the Windows Phone operating system, it appears that BlackBerry is now the last major platform that’s still missing the popular application. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
