The update brings stability and performance improvements

Nokia has started to deliver a new software update for the owners of Nokia 515 dual-SIM (RM-952) devices out there, in the form of firmware 9.04.

The new software release comes as a major global update, and is said to be already available for download over-the-air in a variety of markets out there.

Some of the main enhancements that users will enjoy following the update include better battery life, a variety of stability improvements, as well as overall usability and performance tune-ups.

At the same time, the new firmware will come with updated versions of Notifications, Transfer and Twitter applications, as well as with support for Lunar calendar, a recent post on Nokia’s support website confirms.

The roll-out of this update will take place in stages, but all Nokia 515 dual-SIM users should receive it in the not-too-distant future.
