Netflix recently updated its official Android and Windows Phone applications with more features and improvements. We already reported a few days ago on the changes added to the Android version.

However, Netflix for Windows Phone got more important changes like expanded availability and several enhancements meant to improve the user's experience.

Netflix 2.0 for Windows Phone devices brings support to Latin America, UK and Ireland, in addition to United States and Canada.

This will allow Netflix subscribers living in the above mentioned regions to watch TV shows and movies on a wide range of smartphones.

Furthermore, the application allows user to watch Netflix in their local language and choose alternate audio and subtitles.

Those who update to the latest version should also notice better overall performance. Netflix 2.0 is now available as a free download via Windows Phone Marketplace.
