Netflix, the already highly popular video and movie streaming service that arrived on Android handsets several months ago, is now available for tablet PCs that are based on the Android 3.x Honeycomb operating system.

In addition to expanding support for more devices than before, Netflix was also keen on making its application available for more users, and those living in Canada and Latin America are now able to benefit from its features.

Another new feature that has been added to the mobile application was the support for alternate audio and subtitles.

All these enhancements were packed inside Netflix 1.5.0, which is available for download from the Android Market here, with support for devices running under Android 2.2 or higher.

The application can be downloaded and installed for free, but users will need a subscription to access the streaming service.
