A new version of the Netflix application is now available for download for the owners of Android-based devices out there, namely version 3.0.

The new app iteration has already started to roll out to users, but it is said to be pushed to them on stages, and it might take a while before it is available to all of them.

According to Android Police, the application is sharper than before and feels completely different, given its fast responsiveness.

The UI is smoother than before, and there is an action bar available for users at the top of the screen. There is an overflow menu button on the right.

Furthermore, the new software release is said to be playing nicely with Chromecast. The app comes with cleaner in-app remote function, as well as with a smaller lock screen playback control.

The app hasn’t emerged in the Google Play Store in all markets as of now, but it should appear there soon. In the meantime, you can download Netflix 3.0 for Android from Softpedia.
