The new software release brings bug fixes and optimizations

On Wednesday, Netflix released an updated flavor of its mobile client for Android-based devices, namely version 2.4.1, aimed at resolving some of the issues that users have been plagued with.

To be more precise, the new app iteration arrives with enhanced support for Google’s Android 4.3 Jelly Bean platform and delivers fixes and optimizations for it.

Furthermore, the release notes for the app unveil that on the new Nexus 7 HD, this fresh version requires all Android 4.3 system updates to be installed.

Netflix for Android is available for download for free, though access to the video streaming service requires a paid subscription.
