Android smartphones featuring 5-inch screens tend to become the norm these days, and even mobile phone makers agree with that, though not all of them can actually provide the appealing viewing experience that users would want from such a display, that’s for sure.

Neo N003, however, is capable of such performance, courtesy of the full HD resolution that it was packed with, and comes in with a treat, as it is said to be the cheapest 5-inch smartphone to pack a 1080p screen.

The handset is expected to land on shelves at 899 Yuan ($144 / €111) SIM-free, which will indeed make it a bargain.

Of course, the handset might not sport the same hardware internals as other flagship 5-inch devices out there, though it is said to arrive in a second flavor as well, better spec’d and higher priced, at 1,499 Yuan ($241 / €185).
