Owners of a Motorola XOOM WiFi tablet PC should soon receive a notification on their devices announcing them on the availability of a new Android version, namely 3.2.1 Honeycomb.

The new software update is on its way to devices with as build HTK75D, and should bring along a nice range of improvements, it seems.

Among these, we can count the inclusion of a new version of the Android Market for the XOOM tablet, some of the latest reports on the matter suggest.

The update should be delivered to users over-the-air, but, provided that they won't receive a notification on its availability, they can always head to the Settings menu and search for it manually.

Before kicking off the update process, remember to backup the device, just as a precautionary measure.
