14 DAY TRIAL // Motorola introduced its XOOM series of tablets in India several months ago, but none of the available models proved to be too successful on the Indian market.
One of the reasons behind the XOOM’s unpopularity was the high price. The Wi-Fi only 32GB Motorola XOOM was available for a suggested retail price of Rs 31,000 (585 USD or 450 EUR), while the same model but with 3G support was launched for (620 USD or 480 EUR).
Starting today Motorola XOOM WiFi 32GB can be purchased in India for only Rs 21,500 (400 USD or 310 EUR), while the XOOM 3G 32GB is available for Rs 25,000 (470 USD or 360 EUR).
For the time being, the 16GB models price tags remain the same, but they will probably get big discounts as well within the next few days.
