The successor of the popular XOOM by Motorola tablet is about to make its debut in the United States. After the device was spotted in Verizon Cellebrite earlier this month, the XOOM 2 emerges in Verizon System.

According to the internal documents leaked via DroidLife, three storage models of the XOOM 2 will be available on the market: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.

In addition, the smaller Motorola XOOM 2 (Media Edition) has been spotted as well in the Verizon System, as Motorola MZ609.

Furthermore, it appears that all XOOM 2 versions will be delivered with 4G support, which indicates that the tablets will be available with various data plans, but at lower prices (hopefully).

No word on the pricing options or release date yet, but we can safely assume that the XOOM 2 will be announced just in time for the holidays.
