It looks like Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread for Motorola RAZR has finally reached India. The update is now reportedly pushed OTA (over the air) and will probably be deployed within the following weeks.

The guys over at AndroidOS have just been tipped by numerous Motorola RAZR who already received the update. According to them, Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread is 100MB in size and includes lots of bug-fixes, new features and improvements.

Motorola RAZR owners living in India should soon receive an update notification to install the latest software version 65.1.40.

Those who don’t want to wait until the update is automatically pushed to their devices can manually check for it by going to Settings / About phone / System Updates.

Keep in mind that the update is rolled out gradually, so users might have to wait a bit until it’s pushed on all Motorola RAZR devices.
