Motorola’s Android-based smartphones have posed a lot of problems to those interested in unlocking their bootloaders so as to install custom software on them, but it seems that some enthusiasts did manage to fully unlock some of these devices.

As droid-life notes in a recent post, this was achieved by Dan Rosenberg, the same person who usually roots Motorola devices, with handsets such as RAZR HD, MAXX HD, Atrix HD, and RAZR M being those who have had their bootloaders unlocked.

Proof that these smartphones have been unlocked comes in the form of the video embedded above, which is also backed by details posted on droidrzr.com.

Unfortunately, the method hasn’t been released as of now, but it might not be too long before it arrives on the web, enabling users to unlock the bootloader inside their devices as well.
