One of the handsets that Motorola was rumored a few months ago to plan on bringing to the market before the end of this year was Motorola Primus, featuring model number XT621.

No official info on the existence of this device has emerged so far, but the phone has received the necessary approvals from the Wi-Fi Alliance as of July 27, 2012.

Thus, we learn that, when released, the new smartphone will pack Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n IEEE capabilities on the 2.4GHz band, as Blog of Mobile notes.

Supposedly powered by Google’s Android operating system, the mobile phone might pack mid-range capabilities inside, though this is merely a supposition for the time being.

As it usually happens with smartphones, the new Motorola Primus XT621 should start emerging on other certification websites as well before being officially unveiled to the world, so stay tuned for more on it.
