Owners of a Motorola Photon Q smartphone can now download and install a new OS flavor on their handsets, namely Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

The company promised the availability of this OS upgrade a while ago, but no specific info on when it might start arriving on devices has been provided as of now.

Today, however, the update is being pushed to the QWERTY slider, and its users can already start tasting the enhancements that this OS flavor was announced with, as Android Central notes.

Following the update, users will enjoy a wide range of enhancements on their devices, including performance improvements, bug fixes, and new features.

Among these, we can count Google Now, along with Project Butter performance enhancements, better camera capabilities, gesture typing, and the like. Unfortunately, no specific info on how long it will take for the update to reach all devices has been provided as of now.
