Mobile phone maker Motorola has invited AT&T’s users to test the latest software update for its Moto X, and the release is expected to bring the Android 4.4 KitKat OS flavor to their phones.

The company sent out invitations to the members of the Motorola Feedback Network to participate in the test, AndroidCentral notes. However, the vendor did not provide specific info on the firmware that would be delivered to users.

Based on the fact that the company made a similar move with Moto X on Verizon only several days ago, it appears safe to assume that it is getting ready for the release of Android 4.4 KitKat for AT&T’s Moto X customers.

Furthermore, the presumption falls in line with Motorola’s recent promise to deliver the Android 4.4 OS to Moto X in a matter of weeks. More on this should emerge soon, so stay tuned for the details.
