Mobile phone maker Motorola has officially confirmed the upcoming availability of the Moto X smartphone in the UK starting with February 1, 2014, but it seems that some users might be able to purchase it two days before that.

The smartphone can now be seen at online retailer Clove with a January 30 release date attached to it, and with a price tag of £330 ($547/€400).

Moto X will be launched in various European countries on February 1, yet it appears that UK users will be the first to get a taste of its capabilities, as UnwiredView notes.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Moto X packs a 4.7-inch HD screen, a 1.7GHz dual-core processor inside, and Adreno 320 GPU. It also sports 2GB of RAM and 16GB / 32GB of internal memory.

Motorola has also packed it with a 10-megapixel camera, a 2MP front camera for video calling, and the Android 4.4 KitKat platform.
