Starting today, Motorola’s Moto X smartphone is available for purchase in the United States for $70 less than before, as the mobile phone maker kicks off a Valentine’s Day promotion for it.

The handset will be up for grabs at only $329 (€341) with 16GB of internal memory, just as Motorola officially announced last week. Moreover, the 32GB Developer Edition variant of the device has seen a price cut as well, and is currently up for grabs at $379.99 (€277).

For one hour, starting with 3PM ET today, the handset will be $100 cheaper through the Moto Maker, which means $299 (€219) for the 16GB model and $349 (€255) for the 32GB variant (the Developer Edition will drop to $349 as well, with both Verizon and GSM versions included).

Users will receive a promo code for the device, which will allow them to buy the phone at the discounted price tag within a few hours. Additional info can be found on Motorola's website.
