Motorola appears set to make its Moto G smartphone available for purchase in as many markets as possible, and Malaysia will be one of them, it seems.

In fact, the handset is already listed in the country as available for pre-order through online retailer Lazda.com, with a January 13 shipping date attached to it.

Soon, the mobile phone will also be released in India, which is expected to prove one of the major markets for the device, as AndroidOS notes.

Moto G arrives on the market with a 4.5-inch 720p HD display, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor inside, a 5-megapixel camera on the back, and front camera for video calling. It runs under Android 4.3 Jelly Bean (though it could arrive with 4.4 KitKat right from the start).

In Malaysia, the 8GB Moto G will be priced at RM 698 ($212/€154), while the 16GB variant will cost RM 798 ($243/€176).
