Canadian mobile phone carriers have been delivering new software updates for their BlackBerry devices during the past few weeks, including Mobilicity, which is currently pushing the BlackBerry OS 7.1 platform to Curve 9360.

The owners of this smartphone can now head over to RIM’s website and start downloading the new BlackBerry Handheld Software v7.1.0.889 for it.

The BlackBerry Curve 9360 is a rather affordable device, and the new features and enhancements that Research In Motion has included inside this software update will make it even more appealing than before.

As soon as they install the new OS 7.1 on Curve 9360, Mobilicity customers will be able to enjoy BlackBerry Tags and mobile hotspot capabilities, along with other improvements.

The update can be installed through a desktop PC, using the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
