14 DAY TRIAL // Today, One Thumb Mobile announced that its 3D mobile MMO Celtic Heroes is celebrating its second App Store anniversary.
Launched in June 2011, the game pioneered the mobile MMO genre, and has become one of the most successful such titles on iOS and iPad, courtesy of a variety of updates and expansions.
The game’s two-year anniversary arrives with a month of in-game events and Platinum offers for loyal players, starting with June 20: The Crowning Glory Quest, Exclusive Dragonstaff Mounts, Rare Crowns and Cake, Birthday Balloons, and Double Platinum Sale (with a 2 for 1 Platinum sale between June 21-24).
“Originally people thought we were completely crazy to invest so much time and dedication into a mobile MMO, however the success of Celtic Heroes is testament to the expertise and passion the team have poured into the game,” Richard Hasinski, founder and director at One Thumb Mobile, said.
