Microsoft brought the classical Solitare, Minesweeper and Mahjong games on Windows Phone platform less than two weeks ago, but at least one of the titles was available in Android and iOS for quite longer.

Minesweeper addicts who own an Android device may already know the game is out on Google Play, but those unfamiliar with the title should know the classical logic game is available for free.

The game comes with the original blue theme and offers 4 levels of difficulties: (Noob with 8 mines, Beginner with 15 mines, Intermediate with 40 mines and Expert with 99 mines.

Keep in mind though that the game is ad supported, so those who can’t stand ads may want to purchase the Pro version of Minesweeper.

You can now download Minesweeper for Android for free via Google Play store. The game should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 2.2 and up.
