Mohjang’s smash hit Minecraft for mobile devices has been confirmed to receive a major update on July 10, which is said to bring lots of new features and improvements.

According to developers, update 0.9.0 will bring infinite worlds and caves. In addition, Mohjang announced the upcoming release would contain “loads of new blocks and items including Monster Eggs and huge mushroom blocks.”

A brand new tamable companion will be added as well, so expect the update to add wolves. Lots of new flowers have been confirmed to arrive via the update on July 10 too.

New mobs, including the spooky endermen and less spooky Mooshrooms, along with new biomes from the PC version, such as mesas, jungles, swamps and extreme hills will also be an integral part of the new update.

The official changelog released earlier for players to get a taste of what’s to come, also mentions that abandoned mineshafts, village, and many other cool places will be available for exploring. Developers will also add a brand-new “interaction” button, so players will never accidentally punch a sheep again.

Last but not least, a new feature generation, including lakes, vines and monster rooms will also be added, along with loads of bugs fixes, hopefully, none added.
