Microsoft has recently signed a partnership with Samsung for the addition of some of its apps and services into Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge flagship smartphones.

That's one of the reasons these two Samsung smartphones will come packed with OneDrive, OneNote and Skype right out of the box. Those who go for either of the two Galaxy S6 handsets will be able to find them in the separate Microsoft folder.

Offering some of its most popular apps and services is Microsoft’s tactic for attracting more users. Obviously, that requires frequent updates and improvements for these apps.

OneDrive app for Android, the one that will come pre-installed on Galaxy S6 handsets, has just received a small but important update aimed at regular and business accounts.

According to Microsoft, the update brings some visual updates for OneDrive for Android. In addition, those who use business accounts will be pleased to know that developers have added the ability to share work files.

These are the only changes included in this small update, but we're certain that Microsoft will further improve its OneDrive app on all platforms.

If you don't have the application already installed, you can now download OneDrive for Android 2.9.7 for free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.3 and up.
