Some of the cheapest feature phones available on the market, the Nokia 130 and 130 Dual SIM, have just received an important update that fixes some issues and improves overall performance.

Powered by Nokia’s S30 UI, both handsets should be updated using Nokia Software Recovery Tool because they do not support OTA (over the air) updates.

According to Microsoft, the updates are only available in Europe, but the Redmond-based company does not provide any details regarding availability in other regions.

Keep in mind that if you own one of the two Nokia feature phones (or both), then you should look for software version 10.02.11 in Nokia Software Recovery Tool.

Luckily, Microsoft also released the official changelog of the update, which contains the latest changes that Nokia 130 and 130 Dual SIM owners should be able to take advantage of.

First of all, the update is supposed to fix the “Contacts not ready” error that has been affecting the handsets since their launch.

Microsoft also confirmed the update should add Bulgarian language support in selected countries. Last but not least, the latest software release should improve stability and performance.

Have you captured the update yet? Did you notice any changes other than the one mentioned earlier? Let us know in the comments section.
