14 DAY TRIAL // More good news for Windows Phone fans after Microsoft announced that the next version of the operating system would be launched this summer. It looks like the Redmond-based company plans to launch another Lumia smartphone later today.
The announcement is supposed to go live at 8am UK (3am EST) time, so if you're up at that hour, you should tune in for Microsoft's new Lumia smartphone.
Aside from the teaser we don't have anything else that could shed some light onto what device Microsoft might be launching later today, but since it asks fans “How much goes into a super-affordable Lumia?,” we suspect it will be a very cheap Lumia smartphone.
This would be the fifth Lumia smartphone announced this year by Microsoft after Lumia 435, Lumia 532, Lumia 640 and Lumia 640XL.
The last two smartphones are already available for pre-order and are expected to hit shelves in the coming weeks. However, those who plan on getting any of the smartphones mentioned earlier may want to wait several more hours for Microsoft's announcement.
Perhaps the Redmond-based company will launch an even better smartphone for a lower price than the Lumia 435. Stay tuned for more updates on Microsoft's upcoming launch event.
