The update also brings improved account settings UI

Microsoft launched the Outlook Preview application on Android devices in late January, as an alternative to Outlook. The application is meant to automatically triage users' inbox and act like an email client with calendar built-in.

The application has been available in Google Play Store for less than three weeks now and received a few updates that added a few new features and tweaks.

The latest update, however, while it brings some new features and improvements, does break some things that were working well before, like connection to Microsoft Exchange 2010 for example.

Many users complain that Microsoft still has a lot of work to do on Outlook Preview, so keep that in mind before installing the application. But that makes sense since Microsoft Outlook Preview is still a work in progress.

Anyway, the newest version of Outlook Preview enforces PIN compliance for Exchange accounts and simpler IMAP login flow. Last but not least, users will also notice the application now has an improved account settings UI.

If you haven't tried the application yet, you can download Microsoft Outlook Preview for Android for free via Google Play store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.0 and up.
