In an attempt to attract more customers to its new Nokia Lumia 630 and Lumia 930 devices, Microsoft had just released two new videos that promote the new changes that Windows Phone 8.1 brings and how easy a beginner can operate it.

The first video is aimed at those who already own a Windows Phone 8 device and are now eagerly waiting for Microsoft to release the highly anticipated Windows Phone 8.1 upgrade.

The second video demos the UI of the new operating system and how someone that never owned a Windows Phone handset can take advantage of its features. It’s a step by step guide on how to browse the phone’s menu and access some of the features included.

These are likely to be just the first videos released by Microsoft, meant to make Windows Phone 8.1 more popular among smartphone users.

We will certainly see more of these probably aimed at those who already own a smartphone powered by another platform, but who are thinking about switching to Windows Phone.

All in all, it looks like Microsoft has already started to promote its new devices and Windows Phone 8.1 platform, so stay tuned for more such adverts and promotional videos.
