Good news for Micromax fans, as the Indian OEM is likely to launch yet another affordable Android smartphone, the Unite A092.

This seems to be a slightly downgraded version of the Micromax Unite 2, which is why we think it might go on sale for a slightly cheaper price tag.

Micromax Unite A092 is now listed on the company official website, but no details on price or exact release date are available yet.

Micromax Unite A092 will ship with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, which is a bit of a disappointment for those expecting another cheap KitKat smartphone.

On the inside, the handset is equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM, which is quite a surprise given the phone’s status of mid-range smartphone.

The Unite A092 has been confirmed to come with a 4-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution and dual cameras (5-megapixel main photo snapper and VGA front-facing camera).

It also provides users with various connectivity options, including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB and GPS with A-GPS support. The smartphone also comes with 8GB of internal memory, microSD card slot (up to 32GB) and 1500 mAh battery.
