Lenovo seems set to bring to shelves some appealing new handsets in the near future, and the recently spotted Lenovo LePhone K2 is one of them.

The mobile phone should make an appearance on the market in the not-too-distant future, though only users in China might be able to benefit from its capabilities.

The new device was made official earlier this week, with a large 4.3-inch IPS touchscreen display of unknown resolution, which is complemented by a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8260 application processor and 1GB RAM.

The handset also sports 1GB of ROM, and was packed with an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for 1080p video recording. Lenovo packed it with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, though it might update it to a newer OS as well.
