Sprint’s Nexus S 4G owners can now download and install a leaked flavor of the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system on their devices.

What appears to be an official Ice Cream Sandwich ROM for the handset has just been spotted on the web, packing all of the goodies that the new platform version was announced to arrive on devices with.

Rumor has it that this might actually be the final Android 4.0 build that Google and Sprint are preparing for the owners of a Nexus S 4G.

The ROM features build number IMM26 and is said to be fully operational. However, nothing was officially announced on it. Thus, users should consider waiting for a formal announcement to arrive from Sprint or Google before hitting the download link.

Provided that this is indeed the update Nexus S 4G users were looking for, it should start being pushed to other Nexus S models out there as well in the near future.
