The smartphone will ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform

Lava Mobile is about to launch another affordable Android smartphone in India, the IRIS 430. For the time being, there are no details on the phone’s availability and pricing options, but we can expect Lava to release the device within the next few days.

The folks over at AndroidOS recently spotted the Lava IRIS 430 on the handset maker’s website, along with some of its specs.

In this regard, it’s worth mentioning IRIS 430 packs a 1GHz dual-core processor and a decent 4.3-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

Furthermore, the handset is said to pack a 5-megapixel rear photo snapper, a secondary VGA front-facing camera for video calls, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory that can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

Obviously, dual-SIM capability is provided as well. Stay tuned for more updates on Lava IRIS 430’s release and price tag.
