The application appears to be working fine on entry-level handsets

A few days ago, Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia made available for download a new version of its Nokia Storyteller application, but it appears that the company has decided to remove the updated software from the Windows Phone Store.

Nokia Storyteller was designed to automatically arrange photos on devices, while taking advantage of the HERE services in doing that.

The latest update for the application is no longer available for download for the owners of high-end Lumia smartphones, mainly due to various stability problems, WPCentral notes.

Users who downloaded and installed the software saw it crashing quite often, with the albums being displayed incorrectly, and with a variety of general issues with loading photos and stories. In all fairness, the app is only in beta for the time being, and bugs are expected to appear.

Interestingly enough, it seems that owners of entry-level Nokia devices such as Lumia 520 and Lumia 625 should have no problem with the update.

Update: Nokia US has already confirmed on Twitter that there is an issue with the software, at least on devices such as Nokia Lumia 820 and Lumia 920. The company is investigating and will provide a fix for this problem as soon as possible.
