14 DAY TRIAL // Nokia has just announced that the famous artist who goes by the name of Lady Gaga now tops the all-time rankings for the most-downloaded female singer in the Nokia Music Store in the UK, Ireland, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Sweden, Russia and Malaysia.
In addition, she made it to the top five female artists in other eight countries around the world. The achievement is impressive given the fact Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” was her only track to appear in all Nokia Music Store’s overall top 10 tracks for last year.
To celebrate the artist’s 26th birthday, the folks at Nokia Music have teamed up with Lady Gaga to create a Mix Radio channel with her favorite songs and artists. This mix is now available for free for all Nokia Lumia smartphone users.
In other news, this is not the first time that Nokia creates special playlists for popular artists, as the company is known for previously creating exclusive mixes for Rihanna, Lana Del Rey and Florence Welch. They are all available in the Celebrity Mixes section in Mix Radio.
