Verizon and Casio have a long-term partnership to bring the latest Android smartphones in the United States.

It appears that Casio’s fans are in for a nice surprise as Verizon plans to launch a successor to the popular Commando G’Zone smartphone.

The folks over at Engadget have just spotted a certain Casio C811 at FCC (Federal Communication Commission). The unannounced device features the same form factor as predecessors and supports both LTE and NFC (Near Field Communication).

For the time being, not much is known on the Casio C811 specs sheet. According to the documents filed at FCC, the next-generation G’Zone smartphone features Wi-Fi and GSM global.

No other details on the Casio C811 are available for the moment, but given the fact that it will pack both NFC and LTE, we expect it to be a high-end product.
