A new LG smartphone has just been tipped for Verizon Wireless. The LG VS876 has been recently spotted at FCC (Federal Communications Commission), though only a few details on the smartphone have been unveiled.

Phonearena reports the LG VS876 also appeared on UPnP’s site where it confirms the device will be powered by Android operating system. Unfortunately, there’s no telling what version of Google’s platform the handset will run.

However, we do know the LG VS876 features LTE support (bands 4 and 13), as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC (Near Field Communication) connectivity options.

In addition, the smartphone is said to sport a 4.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display and it will measure 131.6 x 66mm. Last but not least, LG’s phone will be powered by a high-capacity 3000 mAh battery.
