South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics is getting ready for the launch of a successor for its Optimus G flagship device, one that should arrive on shelves as the LG G2, and that is being teased once again by its maker.

LG is set to make the G2 official on August 7 and has already sent out invitations for the launch event, while also publishing video teasers for the device, the latest of which can be seen embedded above.

The one thing that the aforementioned video confirms is the fact that LG G2 will arrive on shelves with backside volume touch controls, just as previous rumors on the matter suggested. Press material published on Ausdroid confirms this as well.

The smartphone is rumored to sport a 5.2-inch full HD IPS touchscreen, a Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top.
