Officially introduced two weeks ago, LG Prada 3.0 was initially slated for an early 2012 release. However, the handset maker decided to give South Koreans a head start over Android enthusiasts living in other countries.

LG announced that its premium smartphone will be available in South Korea beginning December 28 via SK Telecom. In addition, the handset maker also stated that the device would be available for purchase through KT carrier soon afterwards.

Customers who want to purchase the LG Prada 3.0 premium smartphone will have to shell out no less than 899,800 KRW (775 USD or 595 EUR). However, the handset may be available for a much lower amount for customers who are willing to commit to a long-term contract.

LG Prada 3.0 comes with a stunning 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen, which is based on LG’s NOVA display technology. It is equipped with a 1 GHz dual core processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.
