South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics was rumored a while ago to plan the launch of a successor for its Optimus L9 handset, and an allegedly leaked photo with the device has already emerged online.

Available courtesy of The Unlockr, the aforementioned image shows capacitive buttons on the front of the device, supposedly paired with a 4.7-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a 720p resolution.

Furthermore, the new handset sports a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8230 Snapdragon S4 processor inside, Adreno 305 graphics, and 1GB of RAM. The device should feature an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and a 1.3MP camera on the front, for making video calls.

The specifications list of the new mobile phone is also said to include 8GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, a 2150mAh battery, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean loaded on top.
