It appears that Koodo Mobile discounted the Optimus Black at launch to make it more attractive to customers. Given the fact that the phone’s suggested retail price is $300 CAD, the current offer might be time limited.
LG Optimus Black comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system out of the box, but the South Korean handset maker plans to roll out an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update by the end of the year.
The smartphone features a large 4.0-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass coating.
