14 DAY TRIAL // It’s been almost two months since LG Optimus Black was tipped for a Koodo Mobile release and the smartphone is still not available for purchase.
However, the folks over at MobileSyrup have just learned that the Koodo Mobile plans to launch the Optimus Black on April 20. The smartphone will be available in both black and white colors for a regular price of $300 CAD.
The good news is that Koodo Mobile will offer the LG Optimus Black for only $250 CAD at launch, but there’s no telling whether this is a time-limited deal.
The bad news is that the Optimus Black is still running Android 2.2 Froyo operating system, though LG promised it would deploy an Ice Cream Sandwich update in Q3 2012. Stay tuned for more updates on the subject.
