Google and LG have yet to unveil the next Nexus smartphone, but the avalanche of rumors hasn't stopped for quite a while.

The latest rumors making headlines today is the imminent release of the Nexus 5 at Sprint. The information has been recently tweeted by evleaks, but has yet to be confirmed by the carrier.

LG Nexus 5 is expected to be officially unveiled in the next few days. The phone's specs sheet leaked several times and is likely to be confirmed by Google sometime this week.

The search giant's new flagship smartphone is said to boast a 4.95-inch capacitive touchscreen display with full HD (1080p) resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.

On the inside, the phone will be equipped with a 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM and either 16GB or 32GB of internal memory.
