It looks like LG plans to launch another mid-range Android smartphone in the United States. The phone has been recently spotted at FCC (Federal Communication Commission), but it’s unclear where exactly it will land.

According to Engadget, the LG LS720 is aimed at Sprint and/or Virgin Mobile, especially due to the codename and the fact that it supports the former’s LTE network bands.

Aside from the fact that the LS720 might ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, there are no additional details available for the moment.

However, the naming scheme suggests that this is a mid-range Android smartphone with LTE support, so customers should expect to be able to grab this one for less than $100/€75 on 2-year terms. We will keep an eye out for this one, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
