The upgraded version of LG G Pro has been recently tipped for release in the UK as early as January 2014. The LG Gx was launched in South Korea earlier this month and we thought that this device wouldn’t be available outside LG’s native country.

According to Recombu, LG decided to bring the smartphone to the UK, possibly due to the fact that the G Pro wasn’t introduced in the country.

The smartphone will be missing some of the features specially tailored for the South Korean market, such as LTE-Advanced and Broadband LTE, but it will offer many others.

LG Gx boasts a stunning 5.5-inch True full HD IPS Plus LCD capacitive touchscreen display and packs a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 600, an Adreno 320 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

It also packs 32GB of internal memory, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 64GB). Stay tuned for more updates on the LG Gx upcoming availability and price in the UK.
