More details get revealed about LG’s upcoming flagship

In a few weeks, LG will take the stage in New York, Seoul, London, Paris, Singapore and Istanbul (yes, all at once) to unveil its latest flagship, the G4.

Interestingly enough, the Korean company is also working on a more powerful flagship line which will probably end up competing with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (it will have a pen too). But this model will be making it out at a later date.

Anyway, even if we told you that the LG G4 would arrive on the market with a Snapdragon 810 under the hood, a recent listing reveals the company will use the Snapdragon 808 instead.

LG is probably reserving the Snapdragon 810 for the higher-end LG G4 Note, a flagship that’s to be placed above the G4.

While there’s been a lot of hardware talk around the LG G4, information about its software has been pretty scarce until now.

However, a new report coming out of Business Korea today reveals that the new LG flagship will come outfitted with what’s being touted a “dual-mode user experience.” This means the phone will offer two interface modes - a more general, basic one (supposedly cleaner) and an expert mode which will give users more options to choose from.

To drive the point home, we’re offered the example of the camera app, which will get more options in expert mode.
