It fixes some data connectivity issues while roaming

Canadian carrier Bell has just started the rollout of a small software update for the LG G2. Obviously, this is not the highly anticipated Android 4.4 KitKat upgrade, especially due to the low size of the file.

It appears that the new firmware build D803B10d has been specifically created for Bell G2, as other Canadian carriers have yet to push the same update to their own versions of LG G2.

Although the update comes out without a changelog, the folks over at MobileSyrup have been able to learn what exactly the update does.

Well, according to Bell, firmware version D803B10d “will address instances where customers may have been unable to connect to data when roaming internationally in select countries.”

The update is pushed OTA (over the air), so make sure you check for availability by going to Settings / About phone / Software update.
