The update might break root, so keep that in mind before installing

Good news for LG G2 owners at Verizon, as the smartphone is now eligible for a maintenance update that brings tons of improvements and a few new features.

First of all, keep in mind that this update might break root, as AndroidCentral suggests. The reason might be the Google Security Patch that's been included. Check out below the full list of changes added to the LG G2 after the last update:

- Video playback quality has been improved when viewing on websites; - Dialing *611 will now appear on device screen; - TalkBack reads each deleted letter when using Messaging Keyboard; - Backup Assistant Plus resumes syncing after completing a voice call; - Device lockups have been reduced; - Viewdini application has been removed; - Verizon Cloud app is now preloaded; - Messaging is now supported via Qslide; - Voice quality has been improved.

The update has around 172MB in size and is delivered OTA (over the air), in stages. This means that not all LG G2 devices will get it at the same time, so keep checking for it until it becomes available.
