LG G Flex, the Android-based smartphone that LG made official last month with a flexible screen, might get a successor that could be completely bended, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

Apparently, the leading handset vendor is considering the addition of a rubber frame to the device, which would allow users to flex it up to 90 degrees.

LG G Flex was made official with a curved OLED screen (which uses plastic substrates) and with a bendable battery inside, thus being flexible to a certain, small extent, as MobileSyrup explains.

According to a recent post on ZDNet Korea, however, LG is working on building a device that could be bent further, and we can only assume that it will be launched as the successor of the already available device.

However, no official confirmation on the matter has been provided as of now, and details are still missing. Stay tuned for more on this.
